Maher Jarmakani is the Chairman and CEO of Jagal. He also holds a dual role as Chairman and CEO of Nigerdock, a subsidiary of Jagal and a leading Nigerian maritime company operating the largest multipurpose seaport in Lagos servicing customers in the shipping, logistics and manufacturing sectors.
In addition to his executive leadership, Maher is a board director and Chairman of Afrik Delta Marine, Hello Products, the Jagal Foundation, NigerStar7, Sinopec Nigeria and Snake Island Integrated Free Zone. He is the founding executive of Rack Centre, Nigeria’s first tier III data centre. He is also an Ambassador to the Africa CEO Network for Nigeria.
Having worked across various career disciplines including supply chain management, sales and business development as well as leading successful startups and operations in the maritime, oil and gas and technology sectors, he is a seasoned business executive and strategic investor.
Maher Jarmakani is a Nigerian national. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business, Economics and Management from the European Business School in London with executive education from Harvard (Alumnus) and London Business School.
Olanrewaju Fagbohun is a Professor of Law with experience advising on complex commercial transactions and governance issues relating to environment and social impacts.
Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun is the 8th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University. He has served as consultant and task leader to the Nigerian Government (national and states) and development agencies including the European Commission. His numerous publications have been met with wide acclaim. He received his training at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and the University of Lagos.
Dr. Ayotunde Coker has over 30 years’ international experience across Europe, USA, Asia and Africa. His distinguished career of 28 years includes roles as Management Consultant Cap Gemini UK, Director Egg Bank, the first European Internet Bank, Global Applications Director BP, Chief Technology Officer UK Criminal Justice and IT Director, Ministry of Justice.
In Nigeria, Dr. Ayotunde Coker previously was Group CIO of Access Bank and MD/CEO of Emerging Markets Payments, West Africa. He currently serves as MD/CEO of Rack Centre, a leading data centre in Africa with global recognition and numerous international awards. He is also the Secretary General of the Africa Data Centre Association.
Dr. Ayotunde Coker has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Wales, is an award-winning post graduate alumnus of Cranfield Institute of Technology UK, Fellow Institute of Directors (UK), Fellow British Computer Society, Honorary Senior Member Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He holds a PhD (Honoris Causa) by ESCAE University, Republic of Benin. He was born in Nigeria, went to school in Lagos, and university in the UK.
Steve is the CFO of Jagal. He has over 30 years of global, emerging market and multicultural experience in Finance across Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Steve worked with Vodafone Group for 16 years holding various senior roles in Finance serving 7 years at the Group’s headquarters in the UK plus 4 years in India and 5 years in Qatar as CFO. Subsequently he held the position of Group CFO for Axiom Telecom, a leading communications retailer and distributor in the UAE.
Steve is a British national, holds a BSc(Hons) in Civil Engineering and is a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Michael is the Company Secretary of Jagal. He has over twenty 20 years of experience in diverse areas of Law practice. He possesses expertise in legal drafting and advisory services, regulatory compliance, industrial relations, contract management, corporate services, dispute resolution and company secretarial practice.
Michael is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the University of Benin and a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from the University of Lagos. He is a member of several professional bodies such as Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, World Commerce and Contracting, and Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
Francisca Adedoja is the Head of Treasury at Jagal. She has over 23 years’ experience spanning across institutional banking, corporate banking, risk management and treasury in various financial institutions and has a deep understanding of best practices in cash and liquidity management, and risk asset management.
Francisca worked with Diamond Bank for 7 years and subsequently First Bank for 15 years holding various senior positions in Finance.
Francisca is an alumni of Lagos Business School and a graduate of University of Ibadan. Francisca is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control, Nigeria and a member of the Institute of Chartered Economist, Nigeria.
